The CBI had indicted former captain Mohammed Azharuddin, Ajay Jadeja, Manoj Prabhakar, Nayan Mongia and Ajay Sharma but BCCI chief Dr A C Muthaiah told newsmen here that he was not running a trial court and he would prefer to depend on former cbi director Madhavan's opinion on the CBI report, the disciplinary committee's discussion, Madhavan's recommedation and the BCCI working committee's judgement, which could take about ten to fifteen days, he added. Amid reports of why he was showing no faith in the CBI, he said the code of conduct drawn by BCCI is more strict than the ICC code and it includes life ban and fines running into lakhs. However, he added that the indicted players are not signatories to this code and they are in a position to challenge the BCCI decision in court.	Related Stories...
